yumiko iihoshi porcelain is a tableware brand designed and produced by the artist Yumiko Iihoshi.

Since its foundation in 2007, they have aimed to create tableware produced for the masses while keeping the personalized concept, bordering the lines of handmade and manufactured products.

They have asked artisans from potteries across Japan to create original colors and shapes using a manual process to achieve this goal. The craftsman's handwork can be felt within each individual piece, a feature that just cannot be found in today's mass-produced products. A stable and durable construction created by outstanding craftsmanship. Its clean design makes foods and beverages look good, and it has gained high support from professionals and adopted into many restaurants, cafes, and hotels.


 Yumiko Iihoshi

After graduating from Kyoto Saga University of arts with a Porcelain major, she created her own porcelain collection under the name "yumiko iihoshi porcelain." In 2007, she joined Daito-ku designer's village and began manufacturing product series in November of the same year. An Osaka shop was opened in 2012, then a Tokyo showroom & shop in 2014. Her product series and handmade pieces have been widely exposed both domestically and internationally.
